Please stand for our morning prayer.
We will be led in prayer today by Senior Student Minister Ricky Schaefer.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to John:
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You have faith in God; have faith also in me.
In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places.
If there were not,
would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back again and take you to myself,
so that where I am you also may be.
Where I am going you know the way.”
Thomas said to him,
“Master, we do not know where you are going;
how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.”
The Gospel of the Lord.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Lord, in our situation of security and comfort, it is hard to imagine what Syrian students of our age are going through. What destruction! What confusion! What pressures to fight and to hate! Strengthen them so that they may be able to bear up under the strain of war. Help us to spend time reflecting on the devastating effect of war and on the need for an international peace effort in Syria and the entire Middle east. Through Christ our Lord.
We pray all this in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress, grooming, and haircut check have been completed.

We will have a Volunteer Celebration Mass next Tuesday, May 16th, at 8:30 AM. Please wear you oxford shirt and tie.

Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
