Morning Announcements
Friday, May 26, 2017
Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

A reading from the holy Gospel according to John:

The disciples said to Jesus,
“Now you are talking plainly, and not in any figure of speech.
Now we realize that you know everything
and that you do not need to have anyone question you.
Because of this we believe that you came from God.”
Jesus answered them, “Do you believe now?
Behold, the hour is coming and has arrived
when each of you will be scattered to his own home
and you will leave me alone.
But I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
I have told you this so that you might have peace in me.
In the world you will have trouble,
but take courage, I have conquered the world.”

The Gospel of the Lord.

Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, as this year ends, help us focus on all of the good that we have done this year, we need to work a little harder and give us the will to continue our effort of seeing others throughout the summer. We thank you, Lord, for another successful school year, counted now among the 162 others that are part of our tradition.

We pray all this in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress, grooming, and haircut check have been completed.

Words of Wisdom
Today’s Words of Wisdom come from Pope Francis, who called to us: “I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them; I ask all of you to do this unfailingly each day. No one should think that this invitation is not meant for him or her, since ‘no one is excluded from the joy.’”

Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
