Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Church teaches us that giving alms, or donations, to the poor is one of the central practices of Lent, along with fasting and prayer. I don’t have alms to give, Lord, but I can offer a prayer. Send your blessing, and someone to help
· the victims of school violence;
· the local father of three who lost his job and his medical benefits and can’t find a way to get his wife the medical care she needs;
· the ninth grader in Mozambique whose father died and didn’t have the school fees he needed to register for class and has to work in the fields instead.
Lord, hear the cry of the poor.

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and the of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.
