Morning Announcements
Monday, October 8, 2018

Please stand for our morning prayer

We remember that we are in the presence of God

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Lord, help me know your will for me.
Father, you created our minds and you are the source of all knowledge. During this week of quarter assessments, enlighten our understanding. Free us from mental laziness and the tendency to take short cuts. As we study, give us a focused spirit, a quick understanding, the ability to remember what we study, and the powerful assistance of your grace, so that what we learn we may one day be able to apply to the coming of your Kingdom.

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

First Quarter Assessments
First Quarter Assessments for today will be 1st and 6th period exams. Tuesday’s exams will be 2nd and 7th period.

Athletic Results
The Rock-A-Chaw cross country team placed 16th overall in a field of 367 runners and 29 eligible scoring teams. Landry Lemoine led the way with a season best time. The true highlight of the day was the special pink jerseys worn to honor ladies close to our team who have fought or continue to fight breast cancer. Way to run, and way to honor these ladies. The Rocks will travel to Mobile this weekend for a final race before the Division 8-4A Championship
