Morning Announcements
Thursday, December 21, 2017

Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

On this final day of the semester, we ask for a Christmas Blessing:
Loving Father, grant us the light of Christmas,
which is faith;
the warmth of Christmas,
which is pure love;
the righteousness of Christmas,
which is justice for the poor;
the meaning of Christmas,
which is your presence in our daily life;
and the totality of Christmas,
which is Jesus Christ and the good news of his coming.
We ask this blessing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

First Semester Exams
Today you will have 6th and 8th period exams with a noon dismissal. There is no early dismissal without permission from an administrator.

Lacrosse Club
Saint Stanislaus has received a grant from USA Lacrosse and will initiate a Lacrosse Club beginning in January 2018. Any students interested in playing Lacrosse next year should report to the first floor conference room after school today and meet with Mr. Murphy to sign up.

Today is the birthday of Sophomore Houston Holman. Happy birthday Houston! Have a great day.

Quote of the Day
The Quote of the Day today comes from the Book of John:….”And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”

Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
