Please stand for our morning prayer.
We will be led in prayer today by Senior Student Minister Jack Putnam.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to John:
When Jesus had washed the disciples’ feet, he said to them:
“Amen, amen, I say to you, no slave is greater than his master
nor any messenger greater than the one who sent him.
If you understand this, blessed are you if you do it.
I am not speaking of all of you.
I know those whom I have chosen.
But so that the Scripture might be fulfilled,
The one who ate my food has raised his heel against me.
From now on I am telling you before it happens,
so that when it happens you may believe that I AM.
Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send
receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.”
The Gospel of the Lord.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Lord God, the Middle East is a holy place to Christians, Jews, and Muslims. Shelter faith-filled families and churches in Syria who are watching their homeland being torn apart by strife. Give them the consolation of knowing that you are a God of Peace, and that you are inspiring courageous peacemakers to find ways to negotiate an end to the bloodshed. You who live and reign forever and ever.
We pray all this in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress, grooming, and haircut check have been completed.

Words of Wisdom
Today’s Words of Wisdom today come from American novelist Harper Lee, who wrote, “Before I can live with other folks I’ve got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn’t abide by majority rule is a person’s conscience.”
Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
