Please stand for our morning prayer
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Thank you, Lord, for a new year and a fresh semester! This week, we are getting new classes, teachers, friends, and also a clean slate with our grades. So many things are out of our control, but you have given us an amazing semester full of hope! Please look kindly on these prayers we say at the start of every day. Your Son has taught us that you do not mind how big or small the prayer is; you just hope for us to turn our thoughts to you. Bless us as we begin this new semester, through our highs and lows, our successes and hardships.
We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
In the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.
Teacher’s please remember to send your First Day Report to the main office for every class period today. Do not put them on the door.
Our sincere thanks to you ninety plus student volunteers who assisted us with Student Orientation yesterday. Your presence, your welcoming attitude, and your kind help to each other were really wonderful ways for us to begin this new school year. Thank you for demonstrating such positive servant leadership.
Students, please check the Activities Board for announcements concerning Robotics, Student Ministers, Track and Field, Magic Club, Cross-Country, and RC Club.
The lunch menu for today is chicken pot pie, or sloppy joes on bun, or Yakatori chicken salad.
Today is the birthday of 7th grader Layne Hearty, 8th grader Omar Tayara, and junior Tristen Aldridge. Happy birthday Layne, Omar, and Tristen. Have a great day.
Quote of the Day
The Words of Wisdom today come from historian C.V. Wedgwood, who wrote that: “An educated man should know everything about something, and something about everything.”
Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
