Please stand for our morning prayer.
We will be led in prayer today by Senior Student Minister Patrick Powers.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to John:
Jesus cried out and said,
“Whoever believes in me believes not only in me
but also in the one who sent me,
and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me.
I came into the world as light,
so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.
And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them,
I do not condemn him,
for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world.
Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words
has something to judge him: the word that I spoke,
it will condemn him on the last day,
because I did not speak on my own,
but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak.
And I know that his commandment is eternal life.
So what I say, I say as the Father told me.”
The Gospel of the Lord.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Lord, Our God, in your wisdom you surround us with the mysteries of the universe. In times past you sent us your prophets to teach us and witness to your love. In school you have called teachers to guide and discipline us. Help us to respect what they know and imitate what they are, we pray.
We pray all this in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress, grooming, and haircut check have been completed.
