Saint Stanislaus goes beyond traditional education, preparing young men for a future of success and personal growth. College readiness, in our view, isn’t only about building a strong transcript—it’s about helping each student develop the habits that make him successful anywhere: consistent study routines, personal accountability, respectful communication, and the confidence to ask for help when it matters. Just as important, students strengthen critical thinking—learning how to analyze information, solve problems, and communicate ideas clearly in class and beyond.

As boys mature through high school, they gain clarity about their strengths and interests, and they learn how to set goals and follow through. That growth includes self-management—the ability to manage time, stay organized, and balance academics with activities and responsibilities.

Families also benefit from a clearer, calmer process. Rather than waiting until senior year to “figure it out,” students are encouraged to think intentionally about academics, involvement, and next steps early—so college becomes a natural transition, not a last-minute scramble.

College Readiness at Saint Stanislaus

Our college preparation journey begins the moment a student enters high school, guided by our dedicated counseling team. This process unfolds in several stages:

Goal Setting: We begin with conversations that help students identify interests, strengths, and long-term goals, and then connect those goals to potential career paths and college options.

Academic Preparation: Students receive guidance in course planning and study habits, along with support for college entrance exams (with a focus on the ACT), so they’re prepared for both the rigor and expectations of higher education.

Financial Planning: Families are encouraged to explore scholarship and financial aid opportunities early, so they can plan confidently and understand what options may be available.

Application Guidance: In the final two years, students receive support through the application process—from building strong application materials to making thoughtful, informed decisions about where to apply and ultimately enroll.

This tailored approach is designed to help each Saint Stanislaus graduate move forward with direction, confidence, and character—ready not only for college, but for the responsibilities and opportunities that follow.
