Booster Club

The Saint Stanislaus Booster Club is committed to providing the necessary resources to allow Saint Stanislaus’s more than 300 plus student-athletes to purse excellence in the classroom, in competition and in the community.

The Booster Club has a long and cherished history at Saint Stanislaus.  It began as the Parent’s Club in 1932. The school needed funds for athletics and changed the name to the Sidelines Club in 1936.  Then-head coach Harry “Wop” Glover (SSC ’28) and Brother William helped to organize the Sidelines Club with the assistance of benefactor Walter J. Gex, Jr. (SSC ’24), benefactor Milton A “Hippo” Phillips, Sr. (SSC ’19), coach Grady Perkins, and coach John “Baby Grand” Scafide (SSC ’28). In 1935, Gex took it upon himself to erect the first lights for the stadium so that night games could be played.  Later projects included new bleachers and scoreboard as the goal of the club was to make the stadium “second to none” in the state.  In 1999, the school reorganized the club into the Rock-A-Chaw Athletic Booster Club.

As we look to the future, we seek to maintain excellence both on the athletic field and in the classroom.  In order to achieve these goals, Saint Stanislaus must continue providing student-athletes with the resources they need.

When your son becomes a Rock-A-Chaw, so did you!  With tuition covering only approximately 70% of our operating costs, we rely on a strong alumni base and dedicated families to help us deliver an outstanding educational and athletic experience for all student-athletes, including yours.

The decision as to the size of your gift is a personal one – the important part is your participation.  Parents give everywhere from $100, $1,000 to $10,000+, and participation at every level is needed and appreciated.

We invite you to be a part of the Booster Club.  You may volunteer your time, your financial support, and be a contributor to our team.
