Baseball: JV

Coach Brad Corley was named varsity baseball coach in April of 2020. He replaced Mark Logan (SSC ’86) who stepped down from the dugout after 17 years.

Coach Brad Corley joined the Saint Stanislaus baseball coaching staff in 2015. Before joining Saint Stanislaus, Coach Corley played professional baseball in the Pittsburgh Pirate organization (2005 – 2009) as an outfielder and pitched in the Colorado Rockies organization (2009-2011). After his baseball career, Coach Corley joined Gulfport High School as their pitching coach for three seasons before becoming the hitting coach at Saint Stanislaus.

Coach Corley was named the Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year in 2002. He played baseball with the Mississippi State Bulldogs and was a 3-year letterman (2003 – 2005). He was also named team captain in 2005. His baseball honors include 1^st Team Baseball All-American in 2004, 1^st Team All-Sec in 2004, Team USA Baseball Participant in 2004, and a 2^nd round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2005.

Coach Irby Dossett joined the Saint Stanislaus baseball staff in 2020 after a long and distinguished baseball career in high school and college.

Attended MGCCC ( Bulldogs) where he was a starting pitcher both years (15-16). In his sophomore year (’16), he earned All State honors and finished in the top 5 in the country in Earned Run Average. Dossett played for Rodney Bates at MGCCC. After finishing at MGCCC, attended and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Saint Stanislaus Class of 2014. Was a three-year letterman in baseball and basketball. Played on the 2010 state championship baseball team. All-district baseball player in 2013 and 2014. All-district basketball player in 2012 and 2013. Three-time district champion in baseball. A Former district basketball champion (2012) and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He played baseball for Coach Mark Logan and basketball for Coach Ricky Stone.

Teaching English 7, English 8, and English I (H). His brother Brad graduated from Saint Stanislaus in the class of ’20.
