Senior Keegan Leverett Sets New 5K School Record
Senior Keegan Leverett broke the school record for a 5K run at the MC Watson Ford Classic. The previous record was set by Kyle Lewis in 2003 with a time of 16:03. Leverette clocked 15:37 to break Lewis’s record.

Senior Landry Lemoine signs letter of intent with Millsaps College for cross country and track and field.

Cross Country Finishes Third at State
The Rock-A-Chaws finished third at state for the third consecutive year. That’s third out of 25 total teams. All five of our runners placed in the top 25. Special congratulations to senior Landry Lemoine on All-State honors for three consecutive years.

Cross Country wins third State Championship
Royce Garcia was the individual state champion, and he and Raymond Mion earned All-State honors. Other runners were Diego Cuadros, Nick Romano, Michael Nolan, Michael Raymond, and Will Schmidt. Richard Alarcon and John Samson served as alternates.
