2018

Saint Stanislaus Sailing Team Wins MisSissippi State High school Fleet-Racing Championship & Gulf Coast Fleet-Racing Championship 

This is the fourth year in a row SSC has claimed top honors. In addition to the overall win, SSC also won first place in all three divisions (420A, 420B, and Laser). Stanislaus sailor Michael Burns placed first in every laser race. 


2017

Saint Stanislaus Wins High School State Championship in Team Racing. 

Saint Stanislaus gained the state championship as the top Mississippi school in the regatta.  Rock-a-chaw sailors were Charlie Breath, Michael Burns, Thomas Duffy, Josh Grumme, Hanna Dawley, Frederick Cabell, Joel Grumme, Wallace St. Paul, and William Diaz. Breath, Burns, Joshua Grumme, and Duffy were the skippers.

Saint Stanislaus Wins MisSissippi State Team Racing Championship Regatta 

Saint Stanislaus placed first, winning all races sailed. 


2015

Saint Stanislaus Wins Mississippi High School Feet Racing Championship Regatta 

SSC competed with Pass Christian, Gulfport, Long Beach, St. Patrick, Ocean Springs, and Fairhope (Ala.) for the two-day regatta that started Saturday. The regatta was open to student-athletes in grades seven through twelve.

Sophomore Boyd Housey sailing in the 2015 Sunfish World Championship in Paracas, Peru

This Sunfish World Championship is an invitation-only competition. Each competitor has qualified for this world championship through a series of competitions in order to represent their country.

Saint Stanislaus Captures second Place in the MisSissippi State Fleet-Racing Championship Regatta

SSC sailors competed in a field of seven teams in light air conditions at Ocean Springs Yacht Club. Boyd Housey placed first in the laser division. 


2012

Saint Stanislaus Qualifies for Baker & Mallory Championships 

Saint Stanislaus won both A Division and B Division, securing the overall top spot and qualifying for the 2012 High School Mallory National Championships.

Saint Stanislaus RANKS FOURTH in the Nation 

In Annapolis, Maryland, the Rock-A-Chaws captured fourth place in the nation after winning southeastern honors. 


1992

Saint Stanislaus ranks fifth in the Nation 

The Rock-A-Chaws placed fifth in the nation at the Mallory Cup competition held at West Point Military Academy.
