Doxey and Niolet Selected to 2023-24 Soccer All-South Mississippi Team

Congratulations to junior Oren Doxey and senior Richard Niolet on being selected for the 2023-24 Soccer All-South Mississippi Team. Doxey, who was named a Coast All Star, scored 19 goals and provided 20 assists, while Niolet scored 23 goals and assisted on 5 more while also being named a Coast All Star.

Rock-A-Chaws Win South State Title

The Soccer Rock-A-Chaws won the Class I South State Championship. The team scored two goals in the first four minutes of the game, which led to their 2-1 victory over the Sacred Heart Crusaders in the South State Championship game. Oren Doxey scored in the game’s opening minutes, and Abram Doxey followed minutes later with a second goal.

2023 -24 South State Soccer Champs

JH Soccer Wins District IV Division 2 Championship

The junior high soccer team emerged victorious in the District IV Division 2 Championship by defeating North Woolmarket with a score of 1-0. Jackson Orozco scored the Rock’s only goal, and Liam McLendon successfully recorded a shutout in goal. Congratulations to the team and Coach Monsalve for their outstanding performance throughout the season.

Rock-A-Chaws Claim Third Consecutive State Title

Rock-A-Chaws won the Class I state finals by defeating St. Andrew’s Episcopal 1-0. Christian Bourgeois scored the game’s winning goal in the first half and was named the Most Valuable Player. As the Rocks’ goalkeeper, Jackson LeBlanc shut out all of his opponents during the championship run.

The MHSAA Class I (1A-2A-3A) Soccer State Championship game, St. Andrew’s v. St. Stanislaus, was played at Ridgeland High School on Saturday, February 5, 2022.


Rock-A-Chaws Claim 11th Class 4A State Title

The Rock-A-Chaws successfully defended their Class 4A state soccer championship and claimed their 11th overall title in the sport with a 4-0 trashing of the Ripley Tigers.


Rock-A-Chaws Division 8-4A Champions

The Rock-A-Chaws defeated the 23-1 Newton County Cougars 4-1 to claim the state title.

After finishing his sophomore year with the Wildcats, Andrew Elkins signed with Auburn-Montgomery.

Rock-A-Chaws defeated Amory 1-0 to win the 2018 MHSAA Class 4A Boys Soccer Championship.

Rock-A-Chaws defeated Amory 3-1 to win the 2016 MHSAA Class 4A Boys Soccer Championship. Rock-A-Chaws lands in elite company with the win as the only Coast boys’ team to win three straight soccer titles.

Rock-A-Chaws Capture first of String of Division Titles 

The Rock-A-Chaws captured division titles in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.


Rock-A-Chaws Debut under Coach Ron Engel 

The Rock-A-Chaws started their soccer program in 1978 under head coach Ron Engel. However, in 1982, the school ended the program due to having to travel out of state to play games, as the MHSAA did not sanction the sport. The MHSAA sanctioned the sport in 1987, and the Rocks restarted their program during the 1987-88 school year.
