Swimming

Aqua Rocks have a rich tradition of competing well at state competitions.  The Aqua Rocks finished third in the 2021 Class I state swimming finals. The Rocks placed third in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:54.57. Gibson Williams was second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.08 and third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.70. Jack Mullins took second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.34.  

The swimming and diving season begins in August and ends in November. As the swimming season progresses, the coach puts equal emphasis on technique and conditioning. Swimmers practice the correct stroke mechanics, turns, and starts during their race-pace training sessions.
