Resident Life

Aurelian Hall

Aurelian Hall, the building that houses our boarders, is divided into four residence halls: Blanchard, Carnovale, Martin, and Scafide. Each hall is designated for specific grade levels. Scafide Hall is reserved for our Intensive Program, designed for students requiring more structure and personal attention. Our boarders reside with their prefects, whose offices and bedrooms are located at the end of each hallway. This style of communal living fosters a sense of family among the residents. They soon see the dormitory as their second home. Students are able to forge meaningful and lasting friendships with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds. This is an opportunity that cannot be found elsewhere.  Photos of Aurelian Hall dormitory

After-school Activities

We strongly encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities. We believe that such participation is essential for the total development of each student. As a member of the Missippie High School Athletics Association (MHSAAS) Saint Stanislaus competes inter-scholastically in 14 sports. Apart from sports, we offer 19 clubs and organizations in which we encourage our boys to participate. Additionally, our boarding students have access to the school’s recreational facilities. These include two basketball gyms, a weight room, a swimming pool, a rec hall, and a 1,000-foot fishing pier. Our boarding students also have easy access to nearby shops and restaurants in Bay St. Louis.

Weekend Activities

Saint Stanislaus is located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, about 60 miles away from New Orleans. Our boarding students participate in a variety of cultural and recreational activities on the weekends. On Friday nights, we usually have school events such as football games, basketball games, and school dances. Saturdays are dedicated to off-campus activities, while Sundays are less structured to give the boys an opportunity to relax. Our boarding students attend weekly Mass and end their weekends with a Sunday study session to prepare for the week. Additionally, we offer various weekend activities.
