Morning Announcements
Wednesday, October 9, 2019

Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Once again this morning, Lord, I give you thanks that I have been given another day to live. May the gift of life, of health, and of intelligence, which ultimately come from you, remind me that I need fear no evil and that I can freely share what I have, knowing that you will not abandon me in my need. Help me to be generous, especially with the time you give me in the form of this new day.

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

Fall Holiday
We will have a Fall Holiday this Friday. There will be no classes!

Athletic Events
Tonight the 7th and 8th grade football teams will at home against Bay at 5:00 PM.

Blood drive
Before the football game at Bay High this Friday night, there will be a Blood Drive on the Tigers campus in memory of their student athlete Ayanna “Yaya” Singleton who passed away in May after losing her battle to cancer. This is a great opportunity to support a cause and help cancer patients fight their way through this illness. If you are interested or would like more information, there are flyers posted in front of Mrs Farrior’s office.

Graduation Announcement Orders
Seniors, there will be a representative from Herff Jones on campus today to take orders for graduation announcements. He will be in the cafe lobby during 4th and 5th period lunch. Also, if your class ring was sent in for repair, you may pick it up at that time.

Attention Seniors – If you purchased a Senior sweatshirt from Mr. Blackburn, those shirts will be distributed this week. Several of you paid when ordering and will get your shirts right away. If you did not pay for them, you need to bring $20, cash or check to get your sweatshirt. See Mr. Blackburn if you have any questions.

College Rep.
A campus representative from Mercer will hold a student information session in the small dining room today during 5th lunch. Students stop by and see what this school has to offer.

Palazzo Youth Leadership
Students who attended the Palazzo Youth Leadership Conference yesterday can stop by the Guidance Office outside of class time today to pick up their tee-shirts.

Please check the Activities Board for upcoming activities.

The lunch for today is seafood Monica; or bacon cheddar ranch chicken sandwich; or tuna salad.

Today is the birthday of junior Timmy Carlson, senior Tiernan Alderman, and Ms. Therese Mancevski. Happy birthday Timmy, Tiernan, and Ms Mancevski! Have a great day.
