Morning Announcements
Monday, September 17, 1018

Please stand for our morning prayer

We remember that we are in the presence of God

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Dear God, in the face of tests, projects, and assignments of the next few days, please help us to do our best. All we ask of you is that you help us to focus on the task at hand and to give our best effort. You are the source of all wisdom and success, O Lord. Grant us diligence in our studies so that the pressure of studying for our tests might help us along the way of becoming what you are calling us to be.

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

Athletic Results
Congratulations to the Saint Stanislaus sailing team for a job well done at the “Back to School Regatta” held at Pontchartrain Yacht Club this weekend. Frederick Cabell and William Diaz placed 5th in the 420 spinnaker class and 6th in the Dinghy Cup Challenge. Ashley Hilton from OLA participated in her first regatta ever. Way to go, Sailing Rocks!

The cross country teams swept the Forster Commagere Classic this weekend, winning both the Junior High and High School divisions. Reese Cooper led the junior high Rocks for the win. In high school action, your Rocks defeated two strong teams from Louisiana as well as some local Mississippi teams en route to a 15 point victory. The top ten high school runners will travel this weekend to Pensacola for the Gulf Coast Cross Country Stampede. Well done and good luck.
