Morning Announcements
Wednesday, November 21, 2019

Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

As Thanksgiving day draws near, fill me, Lord, with gratitude for our country and the great values it was built on: liberty, equality, the welcome of immigrants, the diversity of races, the richness of cultures, and the ability to worship you in freedom. Guide our leaders and make our nation a beacon of democracy and peace in the world.

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

The 7th and 8th grade basketball teams will travel to St. Patrick to play at 5:00-6:00 PM.

Attendance Certification
Any student who will be getting a driving permit or driver’s license over the Thanksgiving break should see Mrs. Richoux before the end of the day today for an attendance certificate. The fee for your notarized certificate is $1.00.

FCA Food Collection
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is preparing Thanksgiving baskets for underprivileged families within the community. We are asking first period teachers to store the items in their rooms until this Friday. The winning class will receive an ice cream party during lunch. Help us make this a great event and bring in items. Thanks in advance.

Klagetoh Mission Trip
Attention students! This is the last week to contribute to the money drop competition for the Klagetoh mission trip. Pay attention to the signs popping up around the drop buckets for competition updates! Remember, the class who donates the most will receive a prize!

Please check the Activities Board for upcoming activities.

The lunch for today is chili mac; or grilled chicken melt sandwich; or grilled chicken caesar salad.

Today is the birthday of 7th grader Finn Williford. Happy birthday Finn! Have a great day.

Quote of the Day
The quote of the day, today, comes from the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, who said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
