Morning Announcements
Friday, November 1, 2019

Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Today is the feast of All Saints. We will celebrate it with Holy Trinity and Our Lady Academy.

Father, All-Powerful and ever-living God, you hear the prayers of the holy men and women
of every time and place. For our morning prayer today we will invoke the saints who are the patrons of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart schools throughout the United States. Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Saint Vincent de Paul, pray for us.
Saint Joseph, pray for us.
Saint Charles Borromeo, pray for us.
Saint Columba, pray for us.
Venerable Brother Polycarp, pray for us.
Venerable Brother Norbert, pray for us.
Bishop Guertin and Monsignor McClancy, pray for us.
May the prayers of our patrons bring us your forgiveness and love.

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

Quote of the Day
Our special All Saints Day quote comes from renowned Catholic author, John T. Stobb, who says, “You can become a saint! The good news is that God wants us all to go to Heaven! There is no greater proof than the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. We, the baptized, have been entrusted with all the grace necessary to become a saint through the Holy Eucharist.”

Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
