Morning Announcements

Friday, November 13, 2020

Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

We pray in thanksgiving. Lord, help me to be more grateful for my parents.  Even if they aren’t perfect, they love me the best they can, and they work hard to make sure that I had enough to eat, that I have clothes and a place to sleep. I’ll never know all that they do for me, like the things they did for me when I was a baby, but I can be grateful for the things that I know. Help me to be a grateful son, and remind me to be grateful in person to them for bringing me into life.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Thanksgiving Mass

Next Tuesday we will have a Thanksgiving Mass at OLG church and throughout the school. All students must wear their oxford shirt and tie.

Feast of St. Stanislaus Week

We are continuing to collect non-perishable food items in our first period classes.  Please donate what you can and don’t forget that this is a competition for who contributes the most.  The contest ends next Tuesday.

Today Rock-A-Chaws will be hidden all over campus, both inside and outside. There will be a table with a box for each grade in the Resource Center, so when you find a Rock-a-Chaw, get it and put it in the box designated to your grade. This goes towards the winner of the spirit stick.

At lunch you can make Thanksgiving decorations for Dunbar Village.
