Morning Announcements
Friday, September 27, 2019

Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Monday will be the actual date of the foundation of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in Lyon, France, in 1821. Through the intercession of Father Andre, Founder, and of Venerable Brother Polycarp, the first Brother Superior General, give all of us the desire to follow in their footsteps by living out the Brothers’ motto and shared hope—Ametur Cor Jesu! Help us to place God at the center of our lives.

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

Quote of the Day
The Quote of the Day today comes again from St. Francis de Sales, who advised us that: “We must never undervalue any person. The workman loves not that his work should be despised in his presence. Now God is present everywhere, and every person is His work.”

Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
