Please stand for our morning prayer
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Today, Lord, is a day of review and preparation for semester exams. Give us the concentration to understand the importance of preparing well. The Christmas break is coming up, but we need your help to avoid distractions and to make deliberate efforts to be serious about study guides, to review, to make up what work is lacking, and to ask for help where we are weak.
We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.
This is a reminder for all students to pay off your lunch balances by this week. Please check with Ms. Bellone in the cafeteria if you are unsure if you owe a balance.
Also, remember your service hours are now past due. If you did not turn your service hours in you run the risk of a major exam penalty and making up the time during exam week. Late forms must be turned in to Mr. Blackburn.
The semester exams begin tomorrow with your first period exam. Please make every effort to get to school on time. Dismissal is at 2 pm and buses will depart at 2 pm tomorrow. You have two exams Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Buses will depart at 2 pm on Wednesday and Thursday and at noon on Friday. Please make a note of these bus times; this is a change from what was previously announced.
Just a reminder that lunch service in the cafeteria on Wednesday and Thursday is available for resident students only.
Klagetoh pottery, supporting the Easter break Klagetoh Mission trip will be available to purchase with cash or check all this week. These pottery pieces make great Christmas presents. See Mrs. Lawson if you have questions.
Attention sophomores and juniors who took the PSAT in October, please stop by the guidance office between classes or before or after school to pick up your score report.
Student Council will be hosting Christmas movies and Christmas treats in the library on Wednesday and Thursday after exams, starting at about 12:30. Come join in the Christmas fun! Please see Mrs. Garrison in the library if you have any questions.
Please check the Activities Board for upcoming activities.
The menu for today is white beans and sausage; or sloppy joes; or grilled chicken caesar salad.
Today is the birthday of 8th grader Jeremy Mares. Happy birthday Jeremy! Have a great day.
Quote of the Day
The Quote of the Day today comes from Pope Francis, who reminds us that, “God never gives someone a gift they are not capable of receiving. If He gives us the gift of Christmas, it is because we all have the ability to understand and receive it.”
Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
