Morning Announcements
Thursday, March 5, 2020

Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

In my morning prayer this day of Lent, I ask you, Lord, to help me focus on the neediest people around me so I can express to them special charity and love, especially to those with whom I haven’t been so generous or kind before. Throughout the day today, keep me talking with you about them and about how I can reach out to them in a concrete way. You know who they are, Lord. Help me to find a way to touch them or make up to them.

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.

In the name of the Father, and the of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

Quote of the Day
The Quote of the day today comes from an anonymous source, and reminds us that, “Lent is not just about giving up our favorite food but its about going further and giving up things like hatred and unforgiveness. You need to clean your heart and prepare yourself for purity.”

Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
