Please stand for our morning prayer.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, help me to grow in appreciation of all the things you created right around me. For the sweep of orange, pink and gold that brighten the morning sky. For the smell of the sidewalk after a thunderstorm and of the wind blowing over the bay. For the way that the frost makes crazy patterns on windows in the winter. For the amazing smells of springtime. While I’m at it, I’m also grateful for the beaches, the different moods of the water; and the ancient spreading oak trees with their long history and their beards of moss.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
The junior high soccer Rocks played Ocean Springs Middle School to a 1-1 draw Wednesday night. The Rocks scored the equalizer with one minute remaining in regulation when Ethan Cuevas found Bobby Hebert on a long free kick to tie the game.
