Please stand for our morning prayer.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Dear Lord, during this Spirit Week, we want to be filled with the grace of the Holy Spirit. All of us have some places where we come to know our humanity and are brought to our knees. Let us not be judgmental of others and ask forgiveness for those times we have been. We know that sometimes we present ourselves one way in public, but act a very different way with those closest to us. Help us remember to perform acts of kindness, generosity, and charity, even if it is just with parents or with members of our own families.
We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.
The junior high football team will play at home against Vancleave at 5:00 PM.

If you have any questions about the Homecoming Dance, please see Mr. Harris. Tickets will not be sold at the door. You must purchase a ticket at school to attend the dance.
Students who ordered a Homecoming shirt can pick them up today during lunch in the library.
Student Council Pie Opportunity
All this week student council will be holding a “pie/teacher” contest. Come by and put $1.00 in your favorite teachers jar to be donated to the humane society. The teacher who’s jar raises the most money will get a “pie in the face” at the pep rally on Friday. Be sure to put a slip of paper with your name on it in the jar when you donate, to have a chance to be chosen to “pie” that teacher. The jars will be in front of the display case all week.
For Spirit Week, tomorrow is “Free Dress Friday” if and only if you purchased a 2019 Homecoming T-Shirt. You may wear the Homecoming t-shirt with jeans or khakis with tennis shoes. Student council wants to thank everyone who participated in this week’s activities. We are looking forward to the pep rally and game tomorrow.
Please check the Activities Board for upcoming activities.
The lunch for today is chicken and sausage pastalaya; or corn dog; or grilled chicken caesar salad.
Today is the birthday of sophomore Jackson Montjoy and senior Zeke Tatum. Happy birthday Jackson and Zeke! Have a great day.
Quote of the Day
The Quote of the Day today comes from motivational author Stephen Covey, who once wrote: “I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.”
