Please stand for our morning prayer.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, we just turned our phones off, but plug into our electronic devices whenever we can each day, and that has its place at the right time. But at the same time, the more plugged in we are, the less reflective we can become. As we prepare for Christmas give us the maturity to unplug, to stand back, and to ask, “What is my life really about? Who is Jesus for me? Who can lead me to him? How can I help him come to others through me?”
We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.
The junior high soccer team played Biloxi last night to a 1-1 tie in a hard fought contest. The lone goal was by Alexander Walker. Excellent defensive effort by the Rocks preserved the tie late in the game. Men of the match were Alexander Walker and Keeper Jeremy Mares.
Tonight the varsity soccer team will play at Moss Point at 6:00 PM.
The cross country Awards Convocation will be held tomorrow night at 7:30 PM in the College Cafe. Dress is shirt, tie and appropriate shoes. Please arrive by 7:15 PM.
Bradley Shaw, Brady Schatzle, Houston Holman and Brennan Toepfer need to report to the Guidance Office immediately following morning announcements.
Please check the Activities Board for upcoming activities.
The lunch for today is chicken tetrazzini; or hamburger; or grilled chicken Yakitori salad.
Quote of the Day
The Quote of the Day today comes from Saint Teresa of Calcutta who said, “At this Christmas when Christ comes, will He find a warm heart? Mark the season of Advent by loving and serving the others with God’s own love and concern.”
Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
