Please stand for our morning prayer.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
I’m grateful, God our Creator, for all the things I have that I know many people in this world don’t have a chance of ever having. So let me offer you a thanksgiving list not of what I want, but for what I already have. I’m grateful for food. And clean water that is easily available. And clothes. And heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. I’m grateful that I have the care of good doctors. Those things may seem like basic rights, but a lot more than most people have. Help me to be grateful for my health and for all the people who add quality to my life.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
