Morning Announcements
Wednesday, October 2, 2019

Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, you give me gifts of knowledge and understanding. Keep me calm during Spirit Week that I may know the work I do for you is most important and that I continue to concentrate on my school work. Next week marks the end of the first quarter and our first report card grade. Guide me these final two weeks of this quarter to remember all I’ve learned and recall it clearly for any assessments I have in the coming days.

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

Student Council Pie Opportunity
All this week student council will be holding a “pie/teacher” contest. Come by and put $1.00 in your favorite teachers jar to be donated to the humane society. The teacher who’s jar raises the most money will get a “pie in the face” at the pep rally on Friday. Be sure to put a slip of paper with your name on it in the jar when you donate, to have a chance to be chosen to “pie” that teacher. The jars will be in front of the display case all week.

Spirit Week
This week is Spirit Week, tomorrow will be “Thrift Shop” Thursday. You may wear any “Retro” shirt with your school pants, socks and shoes. Please check the activities board for each day’s theme and help celebrate Homecoming week.

Please check the Activities Board for upcoming activities.

The lunch for today is chili mac; or turkey club sandwich; or shrimp salad.

Today is the birthday of senior Luke Beyer. Happy Birthday Luke! Have a great day.

Quote of the Day
The Quote of the Day today comes from author Erma Bombeck, who told her readers: “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, I used everything you gave me.”

Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
