Please stand for our morning prayer.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Merciful Father, I know that the tiny sacrifices I make this Lent can never serve as a real penance in my life. But help me to make my whole life one of following your Son. Let your love shine out from within me and guide my life in this sacred journey toward the Easter joy you offer me.
We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.
In the name of the Father, and the of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.
This Friday Saint Stanislaus, along with all the Brothers’ Schools, will have a meal of fasting at lunchtime. In Religion classes, Brother Bernard will be explaining this gesture of sacrifice and solidarity with our students in Mozambique who are suffering from a Katrina-strength hurricane that hit them two weeks ago. The Brothers urge you to be as generous and positive as so many were to us when we were in need.
In a spirit of solidarity and respect, we are asking all student to participate fully in this fasting experience by giving up their normal meal. While students are free to bring their lunch from home, deliveries of food from off campus are not allowed and will be confiscated. We ask that you please respect this initiative and sacrifice with a loving attitude towards those who are desperately in need.

Quote of the Day
Today’s Words of Wisdom come to us from civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr., who one noted that, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.”
Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
