Please stand for our morning prayer.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Today we celebrate the feast of St. Stanislaus Kostka patron of our school and patron of youth. Stanislaus grew up in Poland during the years when the Spanish explorers were making the first maps of the new world. Martin Luther had just died after spearheading the Protestant Reformation. At the age of seventeen, Stanislaus felt called to help the Church respond to that crisis and that opportunity for renewal. Through his intercession, bless us in a special way today, and help us to realize that, like him, we are each called to show proof of courage in responding to your call to strive for holiness and to accept a vocation of service in the Church.
We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.
In the name of the Father, and the of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.
The junior varsity and varsity basketball teams will travel to Gautier tonight for games at 5:00 and 6:00 PM.
