Morning Announcements
Tuesday, November 27, 2018

Please stand for our morning prayer.

We remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, we just turned our phones off, but plug into our electronic devices whenever we can each day, and that has its place at the right time. But at the same time, the more plugged in we are, the less reflective we can become. As we prepare for Christmas give us the maturity to unplug, to stand back, and to ask, “What is my life really about? Who is Jesus for me? Who can lead me to him? How can I help him come to others through me?”

We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.

In the name of the Father, and the of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.

Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.

Quote of the Day
The Quote of the Day today comes from great theologian St. Augustine, who once noted that: “Men go abroad to wonder at the heights of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motions of the stars, and they pass by themselves without wondering.”

Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
