Please stand for our morning prayer.
We remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us pray together as a school community in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Holy Spirit, you give gifts of knowledge and understanding. Keep me calm during today’s final exams. Help my memory, that I may remember what I learned and recall it clearly. Guide me during testing periods and strengthen me against any temptation to cheat or to make light of what I have been taught.
We ask all these things in Jesus’ name.
In the name of the Father, and the of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Saint Stanislaus, pray for us.
Will everyone please join me as we recite together the Pledge of Allegiance.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Please remain standing until the dress and grooming check have been completed.
Today you will have your 4th/5th period exam with a break from 10:00-10:25 (snacks will be sold in Diboll Plaza) and 8th period exam after the break from 10:30-12:00. Classes will dismiss at 12:00 PM. The busses will leave at 3:00 PM.
The 8th graders will have promotion practice from 12:45-2:45 PM.
And student that has not complete service hours, you must see Mr. Blackburn to discuss your plan to complete your hours if you have not yet done so. Students who do not complete their hours run the risk of receiving a zero on their final religion exam as well as remaining after the noon dismissal this week to complete the hours.
The lunch for today is for dorm students and 8th graders only.
Quote of the Day
Today’s words of wisdom comes from Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, who challenges us thusly: “The world promises you comfort, but you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness.”
Thanks for your attention. Ametur Cor Jesu!
