Retreat Programs
Retreats are an integral part of the Saint Stanislaus experience. Retreats allow our students the opportunity to develop and grow in their relationship with God and their classmates. They allow students the opportunity to step back from their daily academic work, activities, and personal tasks so they can focus on their spiritual self. We want each student to look at about his relationships with God, his family and friends, and with the need so he can develop those relationships at Saint Stanislaus and after graduation.
To develop those spiritual relationship, all students participate in at least one retreat per year. In grades 7 through 11, all students take a school day for a retreat experience suited to their age. Our seniors attend an overnight closed retreat to set a prayerful tone for their final year at Saint Stanislaus and to reflect on Christian manhood.
Kairos Retreat
The campus ministry team offers a voluntary Kairos retreat for juniors and seniors twice a year. Kairos is a four-day residential retreat built around peer talks and peer group support whose aim is to provide participants the chance to “contemplate God’s role in their lives” in a setting free from electronic devices and other distractions.
